By accessing or using Distill (getdistill.tech), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses Distill.
Distill is a survey platform that helps organizations create, distribute, and analyze employee surveys. The platform processes survey responses to generate insights, summaries, and reports. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
To use certain features, you need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your data is yours. Survey questions, responses, and any content you create through Distill remain your property. We do not claim ownership over your data.
Our platform is ours. The Distill name, logo, design, code, and all platform features are owned by Distill and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission.
Distill offers a free tier with core functionality. Paid plans may be available with additional features and higher usage limits. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Distill, you consent to the practices described in that policy.
Distill is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. Insights generated from survey data are informational and should not be treated as professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Distill and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.
You can stop using Distill at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the service stops, but provisions that should survive (like intellectual property, liability limits, and governing law) will continue to apply.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Distill after changes are posted means you accept the new terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or an in-app notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Distill will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
